   •Good Feeding Practices
1. Make sure that there is always fresh and clean water available for the animal.
2. Divide the daily feed into 2–3 meals per day and feed in portions.
3. Feed according to the body weight of the animal (kg), nature, and intensity of the activity, and not by the volume of the feed.
4. Ensure the feed is stored in a cool, dry, and clean place.
5. Make gradual changes in the diet for the animal to acclimatize.
